If you've been reading my blog for a while now you will know that I love a good gift with purchase, I mean who doesn't love getting something for free right?! So today I thought I would share with you the latest gift with purchase that I have come across and that is from Lancome. The brand have collaborated exclusively with fashion designer Roksandra to create this stunning summer cosmetics bag and it's filled with 4 deluxe travel sized beauty products.
I have to say the bag is not only beautifully designed with the perfect mix of summer colours, but it's also really well made using luxurious materials. It's super spacious and I can easily see myself storing all my skincare products inside because I would fit everything in. Roksandra as a fashion designer focuses on creating sophisticated, feminine and playful designs, which is definitely what you get with this cosmetics bag.
So here's exactly what you get inside the bag:
- L'Absolu Rouge Lipstick in BX06 Rose Nu - this is such a cute mini lipstick and perfect for popping in your handbag (I'm definitely a hoarder of mini lippies like this when it comes to my handbag... anyone else?!). The shade is a beautiful dusty rose with brown undertones, so it's my kind of perfect nude. The formula is creamy & moisturising, so not quite long lasting but it will last on your lips between 2/3 hours and fade evenly.
- La Base Pro Pore Eraser - is a pore minimising primer as the name suggests. It has a silicone kind of feeling (similar to Benefit Porefessional) and it really does blur away your pores, leaving a super smooth finish behind. I tend to use these kind of primers only on my T-zone, which is where I used it yesterday and it worked really well in helping to blur my pores and keep that area shine free most of the day.
- Hydra Zen Anti-Stress Cream SPF 15 - I haven't started using this yet, so I can't comment on how exactly it's working for my skin... instead I will tell you a bit about the range. The Hydra Zen Anti-Stress range focuses on moisturising & soothing skin for hydration that will last all day. It's enriched with naturally derived plant extracts, to relieve skin from environmental aggravation.
- Hypnose Mascara - I'm still using the doll eyes mascara from the range, so I haven't tried out this particular one just yet. However I'm sure it will be a great option since it has won many beauty awards and it has really positive reviews too. I really like the look of the sleek wand, since I just find them much easier to work with. The mascara claims to add volume without clumping, so I am really excited about that.
Now if you're thinking about what exactly you could buy to take advantage of this gift with purchase offer, I'll tell you a little bit about the products I'm currently trying out. First up I was sent a 7 day trial of the new Energie De Vie Liquid Care*. This range is quite new to Lancome skincare and it promises to take hydration to the next level. The range is enriched with Goji Berry extract and Lemon Balm oil, which are both perfect anti-oxidants to leave skin looking fresh and glowing. I've only just started the trial and so far I love the silky and lightweight texture... will definitely have to check out the range in full very soon.
I also managed to get my hands on the ever so popular Lancome Juicy Shakers* which are all the rage in the blogosphere at the moment. This is a nourishing lip oil with beautiful pigments that instantly plump lips & leave them feeling moisturised. The oil is made up of sweet almond, omega 3 and cranberry oils, which is the perfect healthy balance for your lips. What I love most is the innovative packaging design... the more you shake up the product, the more intense the colour gets. Now even if you shake them to the fullest you will still only have a slight hint of colour with a super glossy finish. I have shades 102 Apricute and 372 Berry Tale, which look distinctively different in their packaging but quite similar when applied to the lips. So as much as I am loving these nourishing lip oils, I'd recommend you just stick to buying one shade from the range if you decide to treat yourself... purely because there isn't a huge different shade wise when the product is on your lips.
