Feel Unique is amongst one of my favourite online beauty sites to browse, I would definitely say I visit the website on a weekly basis even if it is just for a bit of online browsing. Recently though I got my hands on a voucher from them so I decided to treat myself to a few skincare goodies. It also happened to be that time when all your skincare products seem to run out all at once & I definitely needed to stock up on some face masks. I actually had a sample of the much raved about REN 1 Minute Facial Mask, which I fell in love with from the first time I used it, so I immediately started hunting it down. When I came across the U Feel Unique Radiant Skin Beauty Box for less than the price of the actual mask itself (£30 on sale to be precise), I added it to my shopping basket faster than you can imagine. Within days I received the box and couldn't be happier with my choice. So apart from the fantastic REN Mask, here's what else was included in this perfect skincare box...
The REN Flash Rinse 1 Minute Facial Mask comes in the full 75ml size, which usually retails for £32 so now you can actually see what I mean about the box being a total bargain. Like I mentioned above I completely fell in love with this mask from the first time I tried it and have been loving it ever since. It has the strangest concistency, definitely haven't tried anything like it before (it almost feels like a dry/gritty gel in between your fingertips when you are first applying it to your skin). Then you are advised to wet your finger tips with water and start rubbing the product into the skin using circular motions and then leaving it on for yup you guessed it... 1 whole minute as the name suggests. The water activates the Vitamin C within the mask, which is why you get such an instant glow to the skin afterwards. Then it's simple as 1, 2, 3 because the final step only involves rinsing off your skin with water and patting the face dry. Doesn't sound like you will see great results from just those 3 simple & quick steps, but trust me it's super effective. My skin instantly feels smooth, brighter and generally more radiant. It's like magic in a bottle and I absolutely adore it. I tend to use this once a week if I'm combining it with other masks/treatments, but they do advise it to be used every 3 days in order to maintain fresh, radiant skin. On top of all that, I also love the scent of this mask... citrusy & fresh!
Next it's onto the rest of the products included in the box, which I almost consider freebies since the whole box was cheaper than the mask itself. They are all deluxe sample sizes, but perfect for really getting a feel of how the product will work on your skin.
First up I'll quickly talk about the Glamglow YouthMud Mask, which is the original version and one that I have tried a good few times. The white SuperMud version of this is my personal favourite, but when you're stuck in a rut without any clay/mud masks in your routine, this will do just fine. Glamglow masks are pricey but in my opinion they really do provide effective results so if you've got the budget, they are definitely something to consider splurging on. This particular mask is great for unblocking pores, removing blackheads and leaving your skin clearer. On me personally it does feel a little bit drying as my skin feels tight, but I pair it up with a hydrating mask afterwards to solve that issue. It's definitely a great mud mask, tingles upon applying it, so it really works on your skin instantly, leaving your complexion rejuvenated.
Next up it's a complete newbie to me in terms of the product, but also the brand itself as I haven't tried anything from them before. The Caudalie Beauty Elixir is another raved about skincare product which claims to "act as a vitamin shot , bringing an instant shot of radiance to the skin". I have really been enjoying this as part of my morning routine, especially since I am out of a day serum at the moment, so I just use this once my face is cleansed and then apply my day moisturiser. My face feels super refreshed & cooled as I apply it, so I can already see myself getting addicted to it for the warmer summer months.
Last up I've got the First Aid Beauty Facial Radiance Pads (28 pads), which I've actually been eyeing up for quite some time now so I was delighted to see them in the box. These pads are soaked in a blend of lactic and glycolic acids, two very effective forms of AHAs (great for exfoliating but without the use of harsh, gritty particles so it's much gentler). I haven't experience any sort of tingling whilst using this, so I do think that sensitive skin types would be completely ok with using a product like this. Since receiving the box I have been using them every other day and can't really see an instant result yet, but with a product like this I know that the results usually become evident when you stop using them so I will definitely keep you updated. I do love that the cotton pads are already pre soaked, so there's no faffing about (gosh I am becoming lazier and lazier aren't I).
So as you can see I pretty much love everything in the box and my skin is certainly getting a nice pampering treat too. Considering everything in the box totals up to the value of £70+ you are really getting amazing value by only paying £30 (it's still on sale right now by the way) so definitely a beauty box worth checking out...
