Mother's Day Gift Ideas

Mother's Day Gift Ideas

I'm taking about Mother's Day before March has even arrived I know, but it's really not that far away now when you think about how quickly time is flying by... so I wanted to share with you a few of my  top gift ideas. After browsing through some of my favourite beauty sites for my mum or even a cheeky treat to myself seeing that Ellie is a bit too young to go shopping... I thought I would put together my top 6 gifts (I wanted to narrow it down to my top 5, but I just couldn't as I love every single item on the list). Let's get started!

1. First up I had to include flowers, they are just essential for Mother's Day (anyone else agree?). M&S is one of my mum's favourite stores and I'm sure I'm not alone on that one, so it was naturally one of the first sites I checked out. Within minutes I stumbled upon this beautiful Mother's Day Contemporary Gift Bag, which is the perfect flower combination for spring. It has a modern design along with some pretty unique flowers such as Protea flowers & Cape foliages.

2. Then it's all about luxurious candles to make your mum feel relaxed with this gorgeous Molton Brown Garden Bloom Mini Candle Set (available in John Lewis). As the name suggest these candles instantly remind me of a fresh flower garden with it's bright packaging. Perfect for spring time with refreshing scents of Gingerly, Orange & Bergamot, Ylang-Ylang and Lily of the Valley, which will be a sure way to please anyone's senses.

3. Another gift that I stumbled upon M&S, this time amongst their beauty section, is this Cowshed Cowpat Moisturising Manicure Set. I am seriously ticking of treating myself to this gift set, as I have been experiencing so much dryness in my hands recently. Packed in handy travel bag, the set contains hand cream, cuticle oil, cotton moisture gloves, embryo board and cuticle stick... which is all you need for healthy looking hands.

4. Now it's time to focus on this cutely packaged Almond Gift Set from L'Occitane which includes shower oil, milk concentrate, delicious soap & delicious hand cream all from the ever so popular almond collection. I personally love the scent, not to mention that it's a super nourishing range also, so it would make the perfect body pamper set. L'occitane is a brand that I often overlook but would love to get to know more this year as I keep hearing amazing things about their products. It's also one of those fail safe brands for your mum as she's bound to love the luxurious feel & great quality products.

5. Next up I've got a piece of jewellery from Swarovski because let's face it who doesn't like a bit of sparkle. When I think of Swarovski as a brand I immediately picture diamonds & sparkles, they are the perfect brand for that. This Dear Medium Necklace is super feminine, with a clear message being sent out - a love heart to show how much you care. But most importantly it is just beautifully designed & delicately put together. The best part is that it comes in at £79, which is not too bad at all considering the detail & the fact that it's a designer brand.

6. Last but not least I stumbled upon some beautiful fragrance gift sets in Debenhams and just knew I had to include one in my gift ideas. Of course fragrances are very personal so choose a scent based on what your mum loves... whether that may be floral, sweet, musky or spicy. I remember my mum saying how much she loved the floral & feminine scent of this Elie Saab fragrance so it immediately popped out at me. The fragrance is generously sized at 50ml and it also includes a shower gel and body lotion perfectly packaged together.

So there you have  a few of my personal gift ideas for upcoming Mother's Day which are high on my list and I do believe that any mother out there will certainly be happy with one of these gifts (I know I definitely would be). Will you be treating your mum to something special this year?
