I'm officially introducing Christmas to the blog today, because as much as we don't want to think about it we're actually only 44 days away from it (can you believe it and most importantly are you as excited as I am?!). Today's post is all about my recent collaboration with Boots, focusing on creating a customised hamper for any beauty lover out there, which I can't even express how grateful I am to have been given this amazing opportunity. Boots is my all time favourite store for all my beauty purchases (and more), so to be able to work with them is fantastic. Considering I am a beauty fanatic, this hamper is dedicated to beauty products... But of course if you wanted to organise a hamper like this for a family member or a friend, it can be filled with a ton of other gifts focusing on what that particular person loves. As much as I love beauty, when it comes to Boots gifts I also love to check out all their food & drink gift options, because they always have such a fab selection (hello Starbucks & Nandos gifts). Oh and did I mention the majority of gifts are part of their 3 for 2 offer?! Makes buying presents a lot easier, when you can also treat yourself with a free gift amongst all the shopping (or of course you can be a bit more sensible than me & treat that someone special to an extra gift... whatever the choice may be, I won't tell).
When I was confronted with the box of goodies & everything set apart as you can see above, I was a bit worried that the end result might look catastrophic. Let's just say wrapping presents is not exactly something I'm good at, in fact my family would usually make fun at my gift wrapping attempts every year. Considering that I am quite pleased with the end result, it might have taken me a bit longer than usual to put it all together and I did watch the video that Boots have created more than just a couple of times (I'll actually link that below if anyone else needs a bit of extra help like I did). But I got it done in the end and I must say it actually looks like a really great hamper. The best thing about putting together a hamper like this for your loved one, is that you can be as creative as you want to be, you can choose any kind of colour theme/design, different shaped box or size and of course you can fill it up with whatever gifts you wish to buy for that special someone. In this particular case I decided that the special someone for this hamper would be me (ok ok maybe I'll share with my family too... if I must), but now that the hamper is all put together I can't wait to slowly get through it all & show you some of the fanatsic gifts over the next couple of weeks.
Here's what's included in my hamper in case you're curious about any of the gifts:
So what do you think of my attempts at creating this Boots beauty hamper? I'd love to hear your thoughts on this kind of gift idea for that special someone... Let me know if you'll be creating gift hampers this year?
