Today I'm back with a few more headless shots of me (I know best fashion blogger 'ever'), but until I figure how to take snaps using my remote and not looking totally dumbfounded it's just the way it's gonna be. Bringing back the C-word talk again, Christmas incase you didn't know as I'm wearing my favourite festive pyjamas so far. I know the festive season is all about the glitz & glam, but once I've worn my sparkly dress and stuffed my face into a food coma... I love nothing more than slipping into a pair of festive PJs for ultimate comfort (oh and to feel at ease for all the chocolate munching). I've found the perfect Christmas pyjamas from Dorothy Perkins in collaboration with House of Fraser, from their "PJs to Polish" Christmas edit, so I'm here to tell you all about it.
I didn't have to browse on the House of Fraser website for too long before I soon realised that Dorothy Perkins has some of the best festive pyjama choices, not to mention that they were amongst the most affordable options too. This Christmas Owl Pyjama Set was originally priced at £20, which is fantastic but even better I managed to snap it up a few days later for a reduced price of £16 (total bargain right). I tend to be a size 10/12 depending on the store so I figured ordering a size M would be best, but as soon as I unwrapped it I knew I should have went with an S. It still fits me well, but it's on the larger scale (especially considering it's an M)... I don't mind too much as I like to be at total ease when I'm lounging around or sleeping, but I thought it was worth mentioning. The material is amazing, feels super soft & it looks like it's great quality too. The owl design is just adorable & it made my little one want to constantly touch the bobble hat along with the fuzzy design all evening long. At one point she declared that she wanted pyjamas like mine, so definitely gets a thumbs up from Ellie too. Love this set and I have been wearing it non stop since I received it a few days ago #livinginpyjamas.
To get even cosier up in here I went one step further as I also picked up fluffy socks, in the form of Baylis & Harding Festive Gift Set in Midnight Fig & Pomegranate. The set is the perfect treat for tired feet (did you know I was a rhymer... neither did I) especially if you've been wearing high heels all day. I absolutely adore the scent, it's just gorgeous and how festive does the packaging look?! (perfect stocking filler right there). The set includes the fluffy white socks, which are super soft & cosy, foot lotion along with foot soak crystals... and did I mention it's only £8. Really happy I picked this up, as I can give my feet a little pamper whilst maintaining to stay cosy all winter long too.
So now you know exactly what I get up to on Christmas day, once the glitzy dress is peeled off... not glamorous in any way but pure cosiness instead. How do you find yourself getting cosy during the festive season?! I'd love to hear your thoughts below.
