REISS Nail Paint Collection AW15

REISS Nail of the Season Set

You may be aware of the brand Reiss as a top fashion retailer, but they have now expanded into the beauty world with a luxurious bath & body range exclusive to Boots. I've had the chance to take a sneak peak at the press release & I can guarantee you everything is beautifully packaged from what I can see. I'm quite excited to have a proper look at all the products in store, because I can already see that some of the collection is available online here. For now though I was lucky enough to try out the Nail Paint Collection AW15* which has some truly gorgeous shades within & I can already picture myself wearing these non stop for autumn & winter ahead.

From first impressions I love the box that these nail polishes come in, just as much as the actual polishes themselves. It just has that luxe feel to it & it would make a great gif to any beauty fanatic (I still haven't thrown it out since receiving the set, that's how much I love it). The actual nail polishes have a gorgeous design too, with a white twist off cap adding a fresh look to them. I love the 4 different shades included Nude Sahara, Mystic Grace, Forever Red & Bacall Red, which is such a great mix, perfect for switching things up this winter depending on your mood. The brush is a great size, not as wide as I usually prefer but not super thin either so application is pretty simple. Nail polishes never last well on my hands, usually chipping after a day but the particular berry shimmering shade actually lasted a whole two days (long for me), so I would imagine it has the ability to last much longer on someone else. The only thing people might be a tad disappointed with is the lack of shine to these nail polishes. It doesn't bother me as I always use my trusty Sally Hansen Insta Dry which adds a lovely glossy finish anyway, but it's worth making a note of it.

Overall I don't really have anything negative to say, because I love the shades, I think the formula is great & the packaging is spot on (especially for the festive season ahead). I'm really excited to check out the rest of the range now, who doesn't want super pretty gold packaging eh?! This particular set is priced at £20 which is not to bad for 4 nail polishes and the best part is that you'll be able to snap it up on the Boots 3 for 2 gifts offer (I really do love that offer & every year I take advantage). So will you be checking this gift set in store? Let me know in the comments below…
