Sabon Luxury Body Care

Sabon Luxury Body Care

I was absolutely gutted when I couldn't attend the Sabon Summer Soiree event a little while ago; luxury skincare, Convent Garden, macaroon making… Need I say more? It obviously sounded like an amazing event & I've no doubts that everyone had a great evening. Sadly living in London with no family & a little lady to look after means skipping out on events quite often. However the team behind the event were kind enough to send me a few goodies over to try out since I wasn't able to attend on the night which was so lovely so thank you again.

Let me tell you a little bit about the brand because until my invitation I'm embarrassed to say I had no idea it even existed. When it comes to luxury body care products I'm not always in the loop as I don't really splurge very often. Well this brand is definitely luxurious from the packaging to the actual formula of the products, but they aren't anywhere near as pricey like I thought they might be. In fact the actual motto behind the brand is 'affordable luxury whilst striving to use the best natural ingredients from around the globe'. I love that the brand uses raw material, natural oils & vitamins, making their products SLS & Paraben free.

Sabon products are created with love & creativity from every aspect of the whole process. The team behind the brand are passionate about reaching high standards, paying close attention to every detail & making sure their customers have a magical experience. To sum it all up the four different Sabon Values focus on extravagance, magic, sense & luxury. Even though I am yet to visit the store here in Convent Garden for the full experience, I couldn't agree with more with their motto & bold statements. So with a newly launched UK website, there's no better time to introduce you to the two products I've been playing with over the past week.

Sabon Luxury Body Care

First up the Silky Body Milk in Green Rose £24, which not only looks gorgeous but smells divine too. The texture of this is smooth & silky, so of course my skin loves it & absorbs straight away. It contains Almond Oil, Organic Oat Milk & Vitamin E, which I know are amazing for helping to keep skin firm, hydrated & soft. I love the scent of this, it's not the kind of over powering 'granny' rose scent that you may have in mind. Instead it's very feminine, delicate & floral in a more subtle way. A firm favourite for me & I think it would make a great present too.

Lastly the Sorbet Body Gel in Jasmine £23 which comes in a very solid & beautifully made glass jar. The texture of this is super light as it leaves my skin hydrated but somewhat refreshed. It provides a good dose of hydration even though it's a gel & it's non-greasy which is a must-have for summer. The main ingredients are olive oil, avocado oil, jojoba oil, vitamin A & E, which instantly tells me that my skin will love it. My only issue is the scent, damn my fussy nose. It's still floral & quite light as it doesn't linger around for a long time, but there's just something about this jasmine note that I'm not entirely on board with. I will continue to use it though because it's too good of a cream to let it go to waste & who knows maybe I will get used to it eventually. In the future I will be sure to look out for the other scents in the range such as Lavander Apple or Vanilla Coconut.

So tell me have you tried Sabon products before? I'd love to hear your thoughts on the brand…
