InstaNatural Vitamin C Toner

InstaNatural Vitamin C Toner

My morning skincare routine seems to be all about the Vitamin C recently and this toner from Instanatural is one of the reasons. After learning more about Vitamin C (at one of The Body Shop's talks with Dr Terry, post all about it here if you missed it) and just how important it is for a radiant and glowing skin, I was definitely eager to try out the InstaNatural Vitamin C Facial Toner*. I was actually introduced to the brand a while back by trying out their Hyaluronic Acid Serum along with the Vitamin C Serum, both really nice products which I'm still using as extra steps in my skincare routine to help with the hydration levels of my skin. The brand is all about organic and natural ingredients without the use of harmful alcohols, parabens or sulfates, which really stands out to me. I love that they are constantly searching for wholesome ingredients that can be used to enhance the natural beauty. My favourite is their motto "it is imperfection that makes us discover what is perfect for us' because it's so true. Now enough rambling and onto the product at hand you say…

Straight away the pore tightening claim on the bottle caught my eye and let's face it I was all about that, because despite having quite dry skin I still suffer with enlarged pores in my T-zone area. The packaging overall is simple and it stands out, even though it's not luxurious by any means, but it's what is inside that counts right… After a few weeks of daily use I have to say that I am in love with this toner. It's definitely a nice added step to my morning routine and since trying out the new TBS Vitamin C Moisturiser, this compliments it perfectly. The scent is as good as it sounds, very refreshing and zesty as it leaves my skin feeling hydrated and soft to the touch. In terms of tightening my pores, I'm just not sold yet, there's definitely some sort of tightening effect happening once it dries into the skin but it's just not in your face obvious (I'm probably expecting miracles here which let's face it when it comes to pores I might as well forget it).
My only little nigggle is that this is definitely not a fine mist when sprayed on the face, so you do get a few tiny blotches of products here and there (I do still manage to amaze myself at just how elaborate my English is at times *palm face*). So I feel like this is definitely not a spray that you can use on top of your makeup throughout the day, but then again it doesn't claim to be either (that's just me putting it through the test). Just to recap for anyone curious the key ingredients are: Vitamin C, Witch Hazel and Tea Tree Essential Oils, even though I don't now a lot about product ingredients, I definitely know these are good for the skin.
Have you tried InstaNatural products and will you be giving this Vitamin C Toner a try? I'd love to know your thoughts and opinions in the comments below…
