As promised in my post about The Body Shop's #HappySkin event here, today I'm sharing with you the products I received in my goodie bag which are all part of the three new releases for summer. Don't worry I'm not going to go through each single product as I will be here all day and truth be told I'm only getting around to playing with the products now, so I want to make sure I test them out for a little while before reviewing them in more depth. Instead I just wanted to talk a little bit about these amazing summer releases, especially the Virgin Mojito one as it's limited edition. There's something from each range worth checking out and so far I'm yet to be disappointed.
The Body Shop already has a Vitamin C range with plenty of great options to choose from, so far I've personally tried the Microdermabrasion and loved it. However for the summer ahead they have added two new products to the range; the Glow Boosting Moisturiser and the Instant Glow Enhancer which I can already tell you that they smell incredible. I'm trying to be good and finish my Vitamin E skincare bits (not long to go now) before starting with these two and hope that the lighter gel texture of the moisturiser will be the perfect hydration boost for summer as my skin is that bit oilier in the heat. Both of these products promise a radiant, healthy looking skin and once I test them out properly I will be sure to report back. So far I love the campaign "banish grumpy skin", the packaging and the fresh scent.
The Honey Bronze range hit the headlines last year when everyone raved about the bronzing powder with shades available to even suit the palest of skin tones, so this year they have added more to the range and the products pictured above are only part of them. First of all they have added two deeper shades of bronzers to the line which would perfect for the darkest skin tones and also as a contour shade for medium skin tones. Next up my favourite products from the new releases, the Highlighting Dome with three gorgeous shades to choose from as you can see I have two of the shades above which are amazing with great pigmentation, perfect amount of shimmer and a creamy lightweight texture (definitely worth checking these out). The last two product releases from the range are all about adding a sun kissed colour to your skin without having to bake in the sun for hours, there's a gel specifically designed for the face and a mist for the rest of the body. I'm not sure how much use I'll get out of these as I'm not exactly a tanning expert but I'll definitely try them and report back…
I am in love with these new releases and even though I have been playing with them for only a few days, I definitely think they are worth checking out because you are bound to find the perfect summer product for you. I'm really excited to get to play with these properly and let you know how I get on and the likes (be sure to keep an eye out over the next few weeks). Till then I'd love to know which of the new releases has caught your eye and if you'll be treating yourself to any of these summer products?
