Let me introduce you to the Makeup Revolution Radiant Lights palette, which certainly isn't the newest addition from the brand but I only purchased it recently so it's new for me. Makeup Revolution have really upped their game recently bringing out some amazing products which are always duped for higher brands out there, making it easier for anyone to get a taste in some way for those pricey products. This particular palette has been compared to the more expensive Hourglass Ambient Lighting Palette, which I've personally never tried but have seen some comparison reviews and it does look pretty similar in my opinion.
First off the packaging is black & sleek, with a huge mirror inside, which you might not think is much but for £8 it really couldn't be more practical. Inside there's 3 huge pans of each highlighter shade Breath, Exhale & Glow and I've also noticed that these are available to buy individually from the brand if you don't particularly want the palette. The formula of these is what stands out for me the most as the powders are incredible soft & silky to the touch. Even though they are essentially considered to be highlighters there's no chunky glitter particles in sight, instead you are given the most natural & subtle sheen. I honestly didn't expect such high quality from a budget brand, but these stunning powders have exceeded my expectations and I am blown away.
My favourite shade out of the three is Breathe since it's the most natural shade out of the three and it can be applied lightly to the entire face for the most natural glow to the skin. I have been using this the most to set my under eye area and then lightly sweeping it over the rest of the face. Exhale is the lightest shade of them all and it's perfect for highlighting the cheekbones, without looking like a sparkly disco ball. Glow is the only shade I am yet to use as I feel like this will work much better when I've got a bit of a sun kissed look to my skin, so I will be sure to use this in the summer as soon as I get a bit of a tan.
I genuinely have no faults with this palette and I don't think you can find a better quality product for the price. Have yo tried this particular palette from Makeup Revolution or maybe you have the individual shades? Let me know what you think in the comments below…
