Mac Pro Long Wear Concealer

Concealers have never been a huge part of my makeup routine, as I either tend to skip on the step altogether or use them for the purpose of my dark circles. Due to this reason alone, I haven't tried a wide variety of concealers and what I have tried hasn't necessarily blown me out of the water. That is until I came across Mac Pro Longwear Concealer, which took me completely by surprise in a good way.

I'm already a fan of the Mac Pro Longwear Foundation, which is flawless on my skin when I apply it with a damp beauty blender so I am very glad to add the concealer to my collection. I got the same shade as my foundation NC20 which is a perfect match and it means I can wear it alone on the areas that need coverage for a barely there makeup look. The thing that has impressed me the most with this concealer is how long lasting it is as the name suggests, without creasing under the eyes which is where I have struggled with in the past. It does need to be set lightly with powder as it has a thick consistency and a full coverage, but what concealer doesn't.

This also claims to be great as an eyeshadow primer which I am yet to test out because frankly I don't think anything will beat my trusty Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion. But I will test that out very soon and keep you updated on whether it's actually works as the claims suggest. My only niggle with this is the packaging and the fact that it has a pump. Whilst it might be hygienic and somewhat practical, I find that it disperses too much product for my needs if I use a full pump. To stop that I have to be very careful and press the pump slightly to make sure I receive less product. It's not a deal breaker in my opinion but something to be aware of if you are thinking of buying it.
I'd love to hear your thoughts on this MAC concealer, is it a favourite of yours too? Or do you have any other amazing concealers you can suggest to me?
