Winged Eyeliner & Berry Lips Kinda Day

Yup that's my bare face up there with absolutely no makeup on whatsoever meaning it is tutorial makeup time again. This time around I wanted to create a more autumnal look that you can wear on a day to day basis, so without further ramblings from me let's get started…

Firstly I used my mini sample of the YSL Ink Fusion foundation and blended it out with my Real Techniques Expert Face brush. I won't say much about this foundation as I have a post all about it here if you want to know more. I then used my Rimmel Wake Me Up concealer to highlight the face slightly and blended this out using my Eco Tools Concealer brush. I skipped the powder since the foundation has a matte finish.

Then it's on to contouring and bringing back some much needed definition to the face. I used Benefit Hoola to contour and then bronze up my face slightly, I will never get tired of this bronzing powder it's just great. I then used the more autumn blush shades in my collection which are the darker ones from the Makeup Revolution Contour and Blush Palette in Sugar & Spice. While at it I went ahead and used the frosty highlighter from the same palette on the top of my cheekbones.

Now onto the eyes which I wanted to keep relatively simple yet with a clear definition. So I opted for a very light touch of colour using the Kiko Water Eyeshadow in 228 Taupe mixed with the shade Strange from Naked 3. I then used my favourite eye liner, the L'Oreal Superliner in Black to create a subtle winged line. Seriously application with this liner is super easy and not to mention it has lasted me ages without drying up yet, I just love it.

Next up I went ahead and filled in my brows with you guessed it, my current favourite brow products, the Anastasia Beverly Hills DipBrow applied with the Zoeva 322 Brow Line brush. Lastly I used my Mac Prep + Prime because my lips weren't looking in the greatest of shapes and then I went straight in with the Maybelline Color Drama Lip pencil in Berry Much, which is a great autumn shade in my opinion. And well that was pretty much it, simple and relatively quick to create and of course perfect for this time of the year.

I have definitely become way more confident with the berry lip trend in the past couple of months and currently this is one of my favourite go to looks this time of the year. What is your current look and your must have products for that look? I'd love to hear some suggestions from you all…
