You might have noticed a few weeks ago the 40% off sale The Body Shop had online and well I love a good deal so I just couldn't pass on getting myself a few skincare goodies I had been eyeing up for a while. I haven't tested these products out for very long so I can't give you a detailed review but I will tell you about my first impressions.
With the cold weather making a return, my skin has been super dehydrated and in turn making it more sensitive so I knew I had to get my hands on some moisturising products. After loving the last Vitamin E products I bought I decided to treat my skin to a few more. First up the Vitamin E Moisture Serum which I currently use in the morning before applying a light moisturiser. I love how this just instantly gives my skin a boost of hydration meaning I can take it a bit easier with the moisturiser, resulting in a less shiny face. Since using this I haven't experienced dry patches with my makeup which has been amazing. The other product from this range is the Vitamin E Intense Moisture Cream which I use in the evening since it's that little bit richer in formula, meaning it keeps my skin hydrated all night long as I wake up to super soft skin. I can't rave enough about the Vitamin E range.
Next up are two products that I have seen been raved about for a while now but just never knew if they were worth the money, needless to say with 40% off they were both bargains so I finally bit the bullet. First up the ever so popular Camomile Silky Cleansing Oil, which I use in the evening after I have removed the first layer of makeup with my trusty Garnier Micellar Water. I chose an oil cleanser for this time of the year because it doesn't strip my dry skin of any moisture and this one deserves all the praise as it's a great cleanser. I just wouldn't use it to remove my eye make because if it gets in your eyes (like I have managed to do) you will be left with a blurry vision for a few minutes. I then got the Vitamin C Microdermabrasion as my weekly face scrub because it is has a really good scrubby feel to it and I just love giving my face a good scrub to rid of any dead skin once a week. I personally love this product but after getting professional advice on not using products such as these I have been weary about using it so maybe I will stick to using it once a month (such a shame to let it go to waste now that I have it).
Last product is the Glazed Apple Bath Jelly that I recently picked up in store with my £5 off from my loyalty card which cut the price by half so again a bargain I just couldn't resist. I am so glad I got my hands on this because it smells amazing, probably my favourite scent for this time of year. I just can't get enough and only a few days ago I went back to pick up the Lip Balm in this scent (not pictured here) which is also amazing. This bath jelly pleases my inner child immensely as the formula could keep me entertained for hours, no joke. I am already planning on going back and getting my hands on more product from this line because it's just that good.
So these are my most recent Body Shop purchases and I am so happy with each and every product, I just can't get enough of The Body Shop lately. Have you bought anything from them lately? Any good suggestions for me? I would love to know in the comments below…
