Birthday Treat: ASOS Haul

I finally put my first ever order through to ASOS last week. I don't know why it took me so long to order something off them (as my fiancee says I am the most indecisive person ever so that's probably why). The idea of ordering online seems like a dream at first, who doesn't love sitting in their pyjamas and filling a basket with goodies. But doubts soon start to creep in about the sizes and quality of products since you're not there in person to see it! However with a bit of encouragement from David and the thought of going on another shopping trip with my impatient toddler, quickly made me click that purchase button at the checkout. After all there was no point in stressing too much over sizes since ASOS offer free returns, so all I had to do now is wait for the package to arrive.
I didn't go as far as ordering jeans or anything that I feel like I need to try on before buying, instead I decided to be safe and stuck to mostly tops. Here are the few bits I ordered:

1. New Look Fine Gauge Cardigan
The material of this feels so soft and I really like the mix of different greys in the fabric. It will definitely be a staple in my autumn/winter wardrobe, as I love how this looks on.

2. ASOS Curve Hem Top in Linen Mix
This is a lovely light jersey top which I will wear a lot with jeans for that casual look. The fabric is really soft and I like how the material is tight around the arms but fits loosely & relaxed around the body (my god I really am terrible at explaining this).

3. ASOS Jumper With Lace Collar
My favourite out of the bunch, as I have been wanting to buy something like this for a long time and never seemed to come across anything to my liking but also affordable. This ticked all the boxes and I know I'll get a lot of wear out of it.

4. River Island Clean Jeans Belt
Not much to say about this really but I desperately needed a new belt since my other one broke (yes I do seem to only have one belt since I did a clear out of my closet). This is sturdy and does the job of eh keeping my trousers from falling down (duh).

5. ASOS Jumper With Heart Elbow Patch
I had to buy this as I thought the heart elbow patch is super cute and I also wanted to add a bit of colour to the black/grey winter wardrobe. The material of this is so light & soft, I love it.

6. ASOS Body with Bardot Sweetheart Neckline
This one is definitely stepping out of my comfort zone as I've never tried wearing this sort of neckline before and I usually worry when wearing a body, but I decided to be adventurous for a change. I think this would look really nice paired with high-waisted jeans.

7. ASOS Knitted Swing Dress With V-Neck
This is another favourite, as I didn't expect it to be such a nice fit and on top of that super cosy. I will enjoy wearing this with a pair of tights and a good pair of boots.

Overall I feel like I picked up a good selection of autumn/winter pieces and I know I'll get a lot of use out of each item. I'm really happy with the quality of ASOS clothing, as the material feels super nice and the sizes are a perfect fit. I also like to mention how easy and hassle free it was to order from their website, and delivery was so fast (arriving earlier then they had mentioned). The only problem now is that I'm hooked and I have to seriously restrain myself from putting through another order (currently eyeing up a leather jacket). Have you bought anything nice online lately? Do you love ASOS as much as I do?

  4. Lovely picks! That elbow patch jumper and the body look so cute.
I used to have ASOS Premier and it was amazing - and just £10 a year for unlimited next day delivery. Now I have to wait a week I order a lot less often (thankfully for my bank account!) There is always something I want on ASOS.

  5. Great picks. U'll be hooked on online shopping now, lol. I've ordered loads of swimwear with them earlier this year for my honeymoon. It's hard to choose and you end up buying loads. I was surprised with the great quality and fit vs prices.... amazing!
A couple of days ago I put an order through with Brandalley and today I was stuck in the house all day waiting for delivery, which didn't happen:( Online shopping's so addictive... here I am waiting for delivery (thinking of the hassle of not being home when it gets here), whilst browsing for some more!! xx
